Fountain International School extends the invitation for an annual Inter-School Math & Science Challenge for intermediate-elementary and secondary students to most private schools in Metro Manila.

I. OBJECTIVES

The Inter-School Math & Science Challenge is conducted to achieve the following:

• Promote academic excellence in Math and Science among students in the intermediate-elementary and secondary levels;
• Strengthen the students’ mathematical skills and scientific know-how;
• Discover and cultivate the talents and giftedness of students in Math and Science;
• Develop the values of perseverance, diligence, honesty, teamwork and sportsmanship.

II. ELIGIBILITY OF CONTESTANTS

• Each school may send one (1) team per level:
  
  Intermediate-Elementary (grade 6)
  First & Second Year High School
  Third & Fourth Year High School
  

• Each participating team shall be composed of three (3) student-members and one (1) faculty coach.
• Only currently enrolled grade 6 and secondary students are allowed to be members of the team. They must present their valid school ID cards together with the registration form upon registration.
• Each team must assign a Team Captain from among the student-members of the team, who shall act as a spokesperson of the team during the contest proper.
